The book “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care – Developments, Examples and Perspectives” by the editor Prof. Dr. Mario A. Pfannstiel from the Neu Ulm University of Applied Sciences published by Springer Gabler Verlag. I was able to work on this book alongside many other authors.
My specimen copy arrived today, April 5, 2022, at 1:32 p.m. by DHL in Weyhe near Bremen. The standard work for information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) in healthcare and the interpretation of the data collected in this way has a weight of 1,672g and an incredible 905 pages. A true heavyweight among the standard works.

I am one of the co-authors of this wonderful book. My chapter is entitled: “Simply think data differently! Big Data (BD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Practice”. You will find my chapter on page 521 to page 546.
I would particularly like to thank the team around Prof. Dr. Thanks to Mario A. Pfannstiel and the team at the renowned Springer Gabler Verlag! It has become a well-designed standard work for healthcare that is well worth reading. Thanks also to the other co-authors.
I am very excited when I will use the knowledge of this book in my lectures “Digitization, Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0, Reference Architecture Model Industry 4.0 (RAMI 4.0), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Made in China 2025” and “Smart Home, Smart Office, Smart Factory, Smart City, Smart Country, Smart World” as part of the MBA and EMBA program at the International Graduate Center (IGC) of the Bremen City University of Applied Science (HSB) and in my guest lectures at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland, and at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar near Koblenz, Germany, as part of the EMBA program at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
